The European Small Business Alliance (ESBA) is a non-party political group, which cares for small business entrepreneurs and the self-employed and represents them through targeted EU advocacy and profiling activities.
On 15 October 2018, the European Small Business Alliance celebrated its 20th anniversary as a Brussels based pan-European body representing micro and small companies from across the EU. Today, ESBA is one of the largest organisations based on voluntary membership in Europe.
Through its direct membership, associate membership and cooperation agreements, the Alliance now represents almost one million small businesses. In order to improve the lives of all European entrepreneurs, ESBA regularly seeks the views of its membership and uses them to create the ‘ESBA Manifesto for Change‘.
We offer help, advice, information and support that our members seek, with services based on listening to their needs and concerns. We campaign on behalf of our members using our unique ‘Manifesto for Change’, a policy stance that they help design.
“With a civil service that is no bigger than that of a large European city, it would be impossible for the European Commission to speak with each and every business individually. For this reason, the Commission is looking for a unified voice of small businesses. ESBA aims to be that voice, which is why we are involved in the decision-making process at the very early stages. ”
