Privacy Notice:
Your privacy is important to us. We do not collect information except under the following circumstances:
- Where you are a member of ESBA: we store your user details which are primarily used to control access to the site
- Website logs: we collect logfile information to use for generating qualitative and quantitative statistics to improve the website
- Feedback or other forms: this information generates an email and does not remain on the website. It may be used to contact you (dependent upon the nature of the information you enter)
Cookies
Cookies are used for virtually all websites as it is the only way of maintaining session state information (if you are interested in this subject you may want to research the Hypertext Transfer Protocol - HTTP). We use cookies in the following ways:
- Transient session state information: this is used internally to simplify in-site URLs, for instance language and logon information. This information is not maintained after a short timeout period
- Persistent logon information: if you log on to the website, we set a cookie to identify you next time you visit and save you the bother of logging on again. This cookie is removed when you log out.
- Other cookies: our ISP may set a cookie which is used by web traffic analysis tools. This is out of our control.
If you do not want to store cookies on your browser, you can change these settings. However, this will mean that you will have to logon at each site visit.
