PME Portugal is a non-profit organisation, which seeks to create the right conditions in order to develop and protect micro, small and medium sized companies through training, consulting, political and institutional lobbying and other supporting actions. PME Portugal's membership is growing and with it, its strength and influence. PME Portugal is a national association whose members belong to the service (46%), industrial (26%) and commercial (25%) sectors and are linked to regional delegations. PME Portugal's internal organization and structure have been changing in order to make it more active and professional. Cooperation with similar associations is a strategic goal.
