Launch of SFA in Sweden, 15 October 2008
ESBA has a new Member in Sweden. SmåföretagarAlliansens (SFA) has been officially launched on 15 October 2008 in Sollentuna. SFA had been previously active under the name SENSE. Gustaf Skulason, who is at the Board of ESBA, chairs the first SFA Board.
During the official event, a Friendship Agreement between SFA and FSB UK was signed by Gustaf Skulason and John Walker. A letter from PME Portugal with congratulations and wishes of good luck was read on this occasion. ESBA welcomes the new organisation and wishes the SFA Board and its Members many successes in their work.

ERENET Event, Budapest, 18 September 2008
18 September 2008, Tina Sommer, President of ESBA, together with dr. Tamás Mészáros, Rector of the Corvinus University of Budapest and dr. Antal Szabó, Scientific Director of ERENET, opened the 3rd Annual Meeting of the ERENET, which was held at the Corvinus University of Budapest in Hungary. The event was dedicated to the enterpreneurship education in Europe.

"Europe at our Doorstep" 2008: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Tina Sommer, ESBA's President, will make a presentation on "European Policy for SMEs from the perspective of Entrepreneurs” at a Conference entitled "Europe at our Doorstop", hosted by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Ljubljana, Slovenia at 12:30 on 5 June 2008.

European Day of the Entrepreneur 2008: Zagreb, Croatia
Tina Sommer, ESBA's President, will take part in a panel on Growth at the 5th EDE, hosted by UMIS-SMEA in Zagreb, Croatia on 1 October 2008. Supported by ESBA, the high-level conference will also be addressed by Members Dieter Ibielski, from UMU, and Antal Szabo, from ERENET.
